Join us for a guided walking tour of some of Milledgeville’s hauntings throughout downtown. The exhibit will showcase a collection of spooky art by local artists along with haunting photos of Milledgeville’s most haunted places, complete with the historical background behind the hauntings. Jefferson St., Milledgeville More info: Fundraiser to benefit Sacred Heart Church’s Walking with Moms in Need ministry. Paintings in oil, acrylic, and water color by Harold Champagne, and handmade wooden bowls by Richard Dyke will be offered for sale. A limited number of $20 tickets will be available beginning Sept. 9, providing guests with two pours of wine (or soft beverage) and a variety of cheeses and hors d’oeuvres while shopping and meeting the artists. The parent must register for the monthly diaper program with a photo ID, a valid WIC or SNAP card, and a copy of the child’s birth certificate. What: Dual Vision: Art Through Different Eyes When: Varied times daily Where: Barrel 118, 118 N. Jefferson Ave., Eatonton More Info: Dual Vision: Art through Different Eyes is an annual collaboration between The Artisans Village Guild and the Lake Oconee Photo Club. Members of The Guild recreate selected photos with any medium of their choosing. This results in a beautiful side-by-side show in downtown Eatonton, with Thursday’s 5-8 p.m. reception free and open to the public. All artwork and photos are for sale. The show continues at Barrel 118 on Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Dual Vision show will then move and be displayed at The Gallery through October. Other activities at Barrel 118 include Dual Vision craft cocktails on Friday evening and a Pet Portrait Painting class 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
