Kimberli (Kimi) Clements, born and raised in Milledgeville since 1968, has dedicated the last 28 years of her life to building a real estate business that allows her and her clients to thrive in homes that they love.
“I would say my favorite part about my job is making friends," said Clements. "I mean really, they all become my friends, that and helping others. I also love first-time home buyers because they’re the ones you feel you can really help the most.”
Clements went to Baldwin County Schools until she moved to Georgia Military College for high school.
She recalls growing up on Lake Sinclair with a big, close-knit family and loving to hang out on the lake and go roller skating with friends.
“Of course you always see things differently as an adult, but I just see it as a great community… I’ve been here all my life and I love the area. These are my people,” said Clements.
Even after moving to Washington County for a time early in her adulthood, Clements remained active in the Milledgeville community. She now lives near Lake Sinclair, not far from where she grew up.
“I moved to Washington County because we bought a farm. So it was between Milledgeville and Sandersville…I have been heavily involved in both places for 17 years.”
Two years ago, Clements was ready for a business partner in her real estate journey. She found the perfect one in her brother, Kyle Cullars, who also owns the Milledgeville Surcheros.
“He came on with me two years ago in March…I was like, ‘Yes, come on and I’ll teach you. You can be my partner,’” said Clements.
It’s been smooth sailing since then for the Kimi Clements team through Southern Classic Realtors. The partnership has allowed Clements to spend more time doing her favorite things, while still working seven days a week.
“I love playing pickleball, working out, and being involved with my church," said Clements.
Outside of work, Clements has five children and love to play pickleball, workout, and be involved with her church.
Clements’ dedication to a work-life balance pays off tremendously in her attitude and demeanor. She truly loves everything she does, and wants to continue enjoying the life she has built.
“I don’t see myself wanting to retire at all, because I do love it, however I do want to be in the position that when I want to slow down a little bit, I can still be apart of it, but with both clients and customers,” said Clements.
