Ocmulgee Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is excited to kick off 2024 by launching a “Dinner for a Cause” Campaign! This campaign will help bring awareness and funding to the Ocmulgee CASA program while allowing supporters to gather for a good cause.
Ocmulgee CASA recently had its first “Dinner for a Cause” hosted by Jan and Mat Schenck. This led to another supporter, Marcia Oxford, hosting a ladies' holiday gathering benefiting CASA. These events proved to be a great way to raise awareness about CASA and its mission, as well as provide a chance for guests to sign up to volunteer or donate if they so desired.
These were such successful events that CASA would like to provide this opportunity for anyone wishing to gather with family or friends and help spread the word about the organization and its advocacy for children in foster care.
Ocmulgee CASA would be happy to provide the invitations, information about CASA, or other event items needed. The host would just need to provide the gathering space and guest list.
The event may be as simple as a small group of friends meeting for coffee or a large dinner with an extensive guest list. These details will be up to the host. One or more of our CASA staff members will attend the event to share the mission and give out information about volunteering or donating.
