Thomas Bowlin Land Services, a landscaping business and more, is available for residential and commercial land services needs for communities in Middle Georgia.
“My favorite thing about this business is getting to meet new people and impact my community.
Most of the business goes through me, so I’m here there firsthand,” said Thomas Bowlin, owner of Thomas Bowlin Land Services. “Building relationships and understanding a customer’s needs is my top priority.”
Bowlin founded his business in 2018 after quitting his last job and buying a lawnmower. While the business began with a focus in lawn care; it developed into landscaping and more.
“We’re able to make a lot of relationships with people through the large range of services we provide,” said Bowlin. “Customers use us repeatedly for their land service needs. People seem to like what we do, and I enjoy watching the business grow through the impacts we make.”
Bowlin is originally from Macon but moved to Jones County for the small-town atmosphere. The “tight knit community” felt like the perfect place to grow his business.
“I like that Jones County is not far from Macon, but it’s got a small town feel to it,” said Bowen. “Everybody seems to know everybody, and the businesses take pride in what they do.
Everybody is nice here. It’s a nice little town.”
The business is located at 1345 Hardeman Avenue in Macon and is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Bowlin provides services to Middle and South Georgia counties including Spalding, Pike, Lamar, Monroe, Jones and Bibb Counties.
“We do a range of land services,” said Bowlin.
“For example, we’ve been remodeling Chick-fil-A’s for about a year and a half now. Outside of that we have done residential concrete, residential demo, residential site preparation for homes, grading, clearing, landscaping and we have a lawn care crew.”
