What: Constitution Week More: Georgia College & State University will hold its annual Constitution Week with programs on the U.S. Constitution and current events—starting with a public forum debate from noon-1 p.m. at Georgia’s Old Governor’s Mansion and a Constitution Day lecture and concert at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19. A talk by Dr. Adam Lamparello on “The Stop Woke Act and Free Speech” will be from noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, in Atkinson Hall, room 202, with “A Usery Forum on Leadership” moderated by Dr. Harold Mock from 5-6:30 p.m. There will be a Times Talk on “The Dobbs Decision, the Constitution, and the Abortion Controversy” facilitated by Dr. Hank Edmondson from noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, in Russell Library and a “Supreme Court Review Panel” from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Arts and Sciences auditorium. Where: Barrel 118 - 118 N. Jefferson Ave., Eatonton More Info: All are invited for a reception to mark the opening of the 6th Annual Dual Vision: Art Through Different Eyes Exhibition and Sale. The event is free and open to the public. Dual Vision is a collaboration between The Artisans Village Guild and Associated Photographers of Lake Oconee (APLO). Each guild member picks one - two photos to transform into any medium of art of their choosing. This results in a beautiful side-by-side art show. The exhibit will be on display for the first time at Barrel 118 for the opening reception and a few special events before moving to The Artisans Village Art Gallery.
