BHS students win regional technology fair

Seven Baldwin County High School students won first place in the region Oconee RESA Regional Technology Fair Competition at Central Georgia Technical College and advanced to state in McDonough.Freshman Maya placed first in project programming alongside senior Aaliyah.

The John Milledge Academy (JMA) Board of Trustees announced the appointment of David Allen Simmons Jr. (Allen) to serve as the next head of school. Allen Simmons, a graduate of Parkview High School, is originally from Lilburn.

Georgia Military College announced an upcoming renovation to its soccer field.Currently, Georgia Military College Preparatory School (GMC Prep) teams, which are using the Davenport Field as the main field is too “rough” to be usable, according to GMC Prep Principal Col. Amy Lee.
