Bank teller accused of pocketing cash

Warrants were issued for a bank teller after he reportedly altered a check and pocketed $100 on two different occasions.The incidents occurred at the downtown Exchange Bank. The teller, Meet Kartikbhai Patel, was fired after the branch manager reviewed security footage.

Man presumed drowned in Lake Sinclair over holiday

A man who was staying with friends on Lake Sinclair for the July 4th holiday was found presumably drowned Friday about 2 p.m., according to Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills.The body of David Hoyt Glass, 34, of Mt. Airy, Georgia, was discovered by Georgia DNR officers using sonar.

Putnam teen’s death over holiday weekend associated with drowning
