Major renovations to John Kurtz Field, home of the Georgia College Bobcats baseball team, are coming to elevate the fan experience at home games.The plans, according to Director of Athletics Wendell Staton, call for the existing bleachers and press box to be razed.

Georgia Military College welcomed its 22nd president, Maj. Gen. Terrence J. McKenrick, and said goodbye to Lt. Gen. William B. Caldwell, IV Aug. 8 in a Change of Command ceremony hosted in the NewDay USA Center of Leadership.

Baldwin High recognized as Safe Sports School

Baldwin High School was recognized as a Safe Sports School by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, making it the 21st school in Georgia to receive the designation. The award honors schools that go above and beyond in student-athlete safety, emergency readiness, and wellness education.
