The SPLOST referendum is Tuesday, March 21. However, early voting continues through this Friday at the County Administration Building on North Columbia Street from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Polls will be open Tuesday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and voters must cast their ballot at their assigned precincts.
It is with much joy that we welcome new members into The Milledgeville Garden Club, Azalea District, now totaling 57 club members in beautifying our hometown of Milledgeville. Shots fired on North Glynn Street On March 6, law enforcement was dispatched in reference to shots fired. Prior to responding to the area, 9-1-1 received a call from a resident in the 100 block of North Glynn Street reporting hearing gunshots in the area.

Man fires multiple shots at mother and child

Shots were reportedly fired March 10 at a residence at 114 Russwood Road. The original caller stated he heard multiple shots and two vehicles leaving the residence. A few moments later, a female who was at the residence called and stated her child’s father had shot at her.
