City council hears requests for budget increases

The Milledgeville City Council met April 23 and discussed the final budget proposals from Main Street, the building department and public works.The meeting opened with Mayor Pro Tempore Denese Shinholster explaining that Mayor Mary Parham-Copelan was virtually sitting in on this meeting.

Building materials stolen from Pavilion CircleOn April 19, law enforcement was notified that over $2,000 worth of pipe, valves, and other building materials were stolen from 155 Pavilion Circle. The property was purchased to be turned into low-income housing.
