Milledgeville Police Department officers responded to a shooting Aug. 23 at Buffalo Wild Wings, 2472 N. Columbia St., with one reported death and two arrested for the altercation.
Upon arrival, officers found Buffalo Wild Wings employee Nytavious Stone, 25, with multiple gunshot wounds outside of the building. Stone was immediately transferred to EMS for medical treatment but died at Navicent Health Baldwin.
The preliminary investigation indicated that it was an isolated incident spawning from an argument between employees that escalated into a physical confrontation that resulted in Stone being shot.
The police department posted a press release on Facebook Aug. 24 confirming that twin brothers Micha Shannon Brown, 25, and William Shannon Brown, 25, were charged after Stone’s death.
Micha Brown was charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. William Brown was only charged with aggravated assault.
People who knew Stone visited Buffalo Wild Wings after the incident to pay their respects and a vase of flowers was left in his honor. Buffalo Wild Wings remained closed the rest of the day.
