Georgia College & State University student Ethan Knight was laid to rest over the weekend in his native Jones County.
Knight’s roommates round him unresponsive in his bedroom on the afternoon of Feb. 16. First responders arrived, and Knight was pronounced dead at the scene.
Milledgeville Police Department Chief Dray Swicord said this week that “we’re still awaiting the autopsy results,” adding that “we’ve concluded that foul play can be ruled out.”
MPD Maj. Brandon Sellers said last week that “it appears he had a medical condition that kind of reared its head. It’s unfortunate that this happened.”
Knight was engaged to his college sweetheart and set to be wed in August, according to his obituary from Hart’s Mortuary.
