Law enforcement was dispatched to Lowes in reference to a theft, May 16.
Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office was notified that two lawn mowers and a trailer may have been stolen from the location. An employee checked inventory and reported missing two Arien Zero Turn Lawn Mowers valued at $3,999 and a carry-on-trailer valued at $948.
No available camera footage showed the theft occurring. However, the Jones County Sheriff's Office later notified Baldwin County of a sighting of the missing items. Reportedly, the truck with the stolen items left Baldwin County with the trailer and lawn mowers on the night of May 15 and was being driven by two males.
At some point, as the vehicle passed through Gray, the trailer came unhooked from the truck and went off the roadway. The trailer was left on the side of the roadway and the truck left the scene. As of May 16, the vehicle was last seen on Flock Cameras in Warner Robins.
