Bulldogs focus on improvement for bye week

Georgia has been a model of consistency under head coach Kirby Smart since he arrived on campus almost seven years ago. Still, even as the Bulldogs are ranked No. 1 nationally and remain undefeated after seven games this season, he knows his squad can improve.

Georgia Military College Prep has had a rollercoaster of a season through its first seven games. The Bulldogs (2-5, 1-5 Class A Divison II - Region 5) narrowly defeated Wilkinson County (3-3, 1-1 Class A Divison II - Region 5) on Friday night at home.

After shutting out the Pinewood Christian Patriots earlier this October 55-0, the John Milledge Academy football team turns its attention to the Stratford Academy Eagles for Friday’s region matchup.

Bulldogs to host Commodores after reclaiming No. 1

Bobcat volleyball’s Roberts among nationally ranked

Georgia College & State University (GSCU) Volleyball (9-11, 5-4 PBC) has a wall at the net and that’s in great part thanks to middle blocker Brooke Roberts, from Rome. Roberts not only ranks nationally in two different blocking categories, but also is within the top 10 for both.

Bobcat soccer goes 1-1 on the week

Conference play for the Georgia College & State University (GCSU) women’s soccer team (5-5-2, 4-2-1 PBC) delivered a win and a loss last week. The first contest was against the lone winless team in the conference, Albany State University, and the Bobcats added to ASU’s streak of futility Oct.

Trojans blow past Pinewood Christian

John Milledge Academy (6-0) kept its winning streak alive on Monday against Pinewood Christian (3-3). The Trojans blew past the Patriots 55-0 during a rematch of the 2021 GISA Class 3A state championship game. They have now won 43 straight contests, dating back to 2018.

Bulldogs fall to Trojans in region opener

The Georgia Military Prep Bulldogs lost a tough game on the road against the Johnson County Trojans last Thursday. The 48-10 defeat was the Bulldogs’ first region game of the 2022 season, and head coach Lee Coleman knew it was going to be a difficult game to win.
