It was the perfect ending to a season Joey Logano started with a win. Dominating the action in Sunday’s Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway, Logano started on the pole, won the first stage, led a race-high 187 laps, won the race and claimed his second series championship (2018, 2022).

Westside’s Iverson, Bell run over Braves

The duo of Kadiphius Iverson and Jessie Bell from Westside of Macon (6-3, 2-3 Region 2-AAAA) ran all over Baldwin (3-6, 2-3 Region 2-AAAA) on Friday in a 41-20 win. The Seminoles gashed the Braves on the ground, racking up 293 yards. Iverson had a game-high 140 yards and three TDs on 21 rushes.

Bobcat men’s hoops gives UGA a competitive exhibition game

Christopher Bell had another miracle in his pocket, but Ross Chastain stole the show with a scarcely believable video-game move in the final corners of the Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Speedway. For the second time in as many rounds in the Cup Series Playoffs, Bell won a race he had to win.
