Do you ever wonder if when a fish is caught and released if they go back and tell alien abduction stories to their friends?
I mean let’s think about the similarities. They are snatched from their homes under unknown circumstances, they are often taken on to an alien craft, sometimes probed, then most of the time returned in a different area, and they have no control over anything that happens.
Plus, there’s usually going to be a bright light and a feeling of weightlessness that goes along with their “abduction.”
The creatures that grab them don’t speak their language and look VERY different from anything they’ve ever seen before.
Imagine the conversations around the brush pile when a crappie is released.
Bob the Crappie: “Man you would not believe what happened to me yesterday. There I was minding my own business, chasing some threadfins on the edge of the brush pile. Suddenly I was jerked right out of the brush and lifted bodily in the sky. There was a bright light and a splash then I was unable to breathe!
This HUGE creature with fins that were longer than any I have seen grabbed me by the lip. Then they proceeded to probe around in my lips and throat! They measured me on this board, man! Then suddenly I was weightless again and another big splash and I was back in the brush pile!”
Bubba the Crappie: “Bob, how much did you have to drink last night?”
Erlene the Crappie, wife of Bob: “I keep telling him he has a drinking problem, but he just won’t listen! Now he’s the laughingstock of the neighborhood with these abduction stories! I swear my momma warned me not to get involved with a guy from this side of the brush pile.”
Leroy the Bass, best friend of Bob: “You know, I heard about this same thing happening to this bass I know over around the poles. Personally, it has never happened to me, but I think the truth of it all is being hidden by the government. They know man! Hey, have you ever seen that UFO crash site over on the rocks?”
Ron from the Crappie Bureau of Investigation (a.k.a. the CBI): “You were obviously swimming someplace close to the springs and just mistook this gas release from the leaves as a bright light.
You were really asleep and simply dreamed this experience up, confusing it all with a TV show you watched last week. There are no aliens, and we know nothing more than what we have told you.”
Billy, the local pastor of the non-species-specific congregation of believers: “Bob, if you would call on the name of Gamakatsu, the great savior of us all, these things would leave you alone! It’s truly just demonic activity that you experienced!”
Meanwhile, Bob the Crappie, completely sure of what he experienced, pops another Natty Lite and looks contemptuously at them all proclaiming loudly: “I’m telling you they have an agenda!
Hybridization and colonization! They will take over the brush pile and you will see!”
If you think I’m off my rocker, you should hear the conversations my friends and I have on the boat regularly. They make this seem tame.
