It’s the most common refrain I hear from voters...”I don’t like my choices.” Most typically these words are heard during Presidential election years, but increasingly, like these never-ending election seasons themselves, this message is becoming a near-constant.

Who needs to live forever to be immortal?

This is not a piece I was dying to write. It’s about death. The great equalizer. The reason I bring up the subject today is that I read a piece recently that scientists are looking seriously at ways to keep us alive forever. No more wakes. No more inflated obituaries.

A note from a friend recently made me aware that with all the money that is out there for young athletes today, that they should be reminded that when the sun begins to set in their lives, they are not going to be able to buy friendships. You don’t need friendships when you are young.
