GMCP student earns Blaze Award for Baldwin

Georgia Military College Prep School is proud to recognize Cadet Natalie Jadol for her exceptional academic achievement as the recipient of the 2025–26 BLAZE Award for Milledgeville-Baldwin County. This honor recognizes high school seniors with the highest ACT scores across high schools in Baldwin County, along with their most influential teachers. As part of this recognition, Cadet Jadol selected Major Alisha Rochon as the educator who has made a significant impact on her academic journey.

In addition to her academic excellence, Cadet Jadol has demonstrated outstanding leadership and involvement throughout her time at GMC Prep. She is a Gold and Silver Key winner of the Georgia Region Scholastic Art and Writing Awards and a Georgia Governor’s Honors Program Visual Arts Finalist. She has been an active member of the marching band for five years, including her senior year as drum major, and serves as band company commander, overseeing music for parades.

Cadet Jadol has also dedicated six years to Art Club, competed on the rifle team for three years, and earned Region Runner-Up in Literary for Personal Essay during her junior year. She is an AP Scholar and a member of five honor societies: Mu Alpha Theta, Rho Kappa, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Senior Beta Club. Her leadership extends beyond campus through her involvement in Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy and JALA.

Cadet Jadol’s academic success has earned her acceptance to several prestigious institutions, including the University of Georgia, Georgia Institute of Technology, Savannah College of Art and Design, and Georgia State University. She plans to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design in the fall to further pursue her passion for the arts.
