The Peach Belt Conference preseason coaches’ poll for men’s cross-country has been released. Georgia College & State University has been picked to finish third in the league.
Augusta University was the top choice in the poll of men’s cross country coaches with six first-place votes and 62 points, while Flagler College was next at 59. GCSU was third with 50 points and was followed by Clayton State University (41), Columbus State University (29), Lander University (29), University of South Carolina-Aiken (27), University of South Carolina- Beaufort (15), and Georgia Southwestern State University (12).
Augusta won the PBC championship for a record-tying sixth time in a row.
The Bobcats return eight runners to its 2024 team that finished third in at last year’s championship, which was the highest finish for GCSU since its 2021 championship.
The 2025 PBC Championships will be hosted by GCSU Oct. 25 at its Bobcat Cross Country Course located on West Campus.
