Their essays will reflect this year’s theme within the nation and the Milledgeville/Baldwin County community. Shrek brings all the beloved characters from the film to life on stage and proves there’s more to the story than meets the ears.

Inspired by Southern Gothic artists like Sally Mann, Flannery O’Connor, and Johnny Cash, Wood combines film and digital images to communicate through her lens a deep and meaningful connection with the region.

Wayne St. More info: Founded in 1985 by the Pilot Clubs of Metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia Artists With Disabilities (GAD) provides a platform for Georgia artists with disabilities to display and sell their original artwork while also offering the chance to compete for awards.

Jefferson NE, Milledgeville More info: Walking with Moms in Need (WWMIN) is open Tuesdays from 1-3 p.m., except on major holidays. A monthly distribution of 50 diapers is available for infants and toddlers. The parent must register for the diaper program with a valid photo I.D. and a copy of the child’s birth certificate.
