From intricate patterns to vibrant colors, each quilt tells a story stitched with passion, skill, and creativity. Hancock St. More info: In honor of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., GGSU invites the campus and Milledgeville community to join them as they host essay competition winners from the local schools. Their essays will reflect the concept of this year’s theme within our nation and the Milledgeville/Baldwin County community. The breakfast is $20. Shrek brings all the beloved characters from the film to life on stage and proves there’s more to the story than meets the ears.

Wayne St. More info: Grace Wood, a Georgia College & State University alumna, presents a photography exhibit inspired by the people, places, and stories of the South. Her work captures the beauty of the South while also capturing its complexity and raw authenticity. Inspired by southern gothic artists like Sally Mann, Flannery O’Connor, and Johnny Cash, she combines film and digital to communicate her deep connection with the South through the lens.

What: Georgia Artists with Disabilities Exhibit When: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Where: Allied Arts, 201 N. Wayne St. More info: Founded in 1985 by the Pilot Clubs of Metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia Artists With Disabilities, Inc. provides a platform for artists to display and sell their original artwork while also offering the chance to compete for awards. The Georgia Artists With Disabilities Exhibit showcases the incredible talent of artists with disabilities from across Georgia. Don’t miss the opportunity to support and celebrate the creativity and resilience of these talented artists.

A monthly distribution of 50 diapers is available for infants and toddlers. The parent must register for the diaper program with a valid photo I.D. and a copy of the child’s birth certificate.
