Temporary traffic light becoming permanent

The location of the North Columbia Street red light in front of Ruby Tuesday, first installed in October 2023, was designed as a temporary fix. However, now the Georgia Department of Transportation has decided to make the light’s installation permanent.

Norris Octavious Johnson is accused of rolling a buggy full of merchandise past the final point of sale at Walmart. Once Johnson reached the parking lot, however, he kept on rolling, all the way to North Columbia Street.
