Final public hearing set for tax increase

Cadet named Rhodes Scholar after journey from GMC to West Point

Cadet Fahad Abdulrazzaq, a former Georgia Military College (GMC) Service Academy Prep scholar and current regimental commander at West Point, of the U.S. Military Academy, has been selected as a Rhodes Scholar.

Georgia Military College (GMC) announces the passing of Major General Peter Boylan, USA (Ret.), 20th President of GMC. MG Boylan became president of Georgia Military College in 1992 and remains the longest-serving president since its founding in 1879.

Rivian bond deal closes; construction to begin in 2024

Georgia is one step closer to becoming the epicenter of electric vehicle manufacturing after the state and Rivian cleared legal hurdles that sought to derail the manufacturing plant in Morgan and Walton counties.
