BCSD receives $225,000 Safer Georgia Schools Grant

The Baldwin County School District (BCSD) has announced the successful acquisition of a $225,000 Safer Georgia Schools Grant by Director of Safety and Security Corey Goble.

New, important exhibits coming to CSH museum

Baldwin County is donating to a soon-to-open museum exhibit a cornerstone from a prison building that once housed hundreds of inmates, as well as the electric chair used by the state for executions.

Entering autos reported at Magnolia ApartmentsOn Feb. 13, law enforcement was dispatched to Magnolia Apartments, on 529 W. Bypass, regarding entering autos that already occurred.The first victim stated she entered her vehicle and found the center console was rummaged through.

GCSU awarded $100K CareGrant

Georgia College and State University (GCSU) welcomed alumni, and president of Aflac, Virgil Miller to campus this past Friday. Miller awarded GCSU a $100,000 Aflac CareGrant, that will be used to maintain a mobile health unit from the institution.
