Century 21 Real Estate is fortifying its brand’s presence in the Peach State with the affiliation of female-owned and led Realty 1 Georgia.
The multi-office brokerage was established in February 2020 by broker/owner Angela Whitmire. Now doing business as Century 21 Realty 1 professionals, Whitmire and her independent sales professionals will have access to Century 21’s worldclass technology and marketing, lead generation, and agent learning and coaching.
“The Century 21 brand offers a unique balance of support and independence,” Whitmire said. “The network provides a strong sense of belonging while empowering agents to remain independent and entrepreneurial.”
Whitmire’s professional path in real estate began at just 18 years old when she worked in mortgages and loan origination before progressing to property management and eventually real estate sales and business ownership. She navigated some of the most challenging periods of the real estate industry, including the 2008 market crash, during which she pivoted to a successful event management business before rejoining the industry in 2013.
Upon reentry into real estate, success in the field allowed Whitmire to found her own firm, which she did just one month before the start of the global pandemic. Her ability to navigate difficult circumstances while instilling confidence in clients to build meaningful relationships helped her to build a glowing reputation and earn the position of president- elect of the East Metro Board of Realtors.
Since founding her company and growing it to two locations in Milledgeville and Covington, Whitmire and her independent sales professionals have become known for their ability to assist residents across East Metro Atlanta and Central Georgia with residential and commercial properties.
“In addition to making sure our brokerage operations are running smoothly, I have a strong focus on mentoring and coaching our agents,” said Whitmire. “My goal is to help agents grow their business with confidence and to help clients achieve the real estate goals they strive for. Century 21 Real Estate President Mike Miedler said the company concentrates on expanding its presence in America’s largest metro areas and although Whitmire’s Realty 1 Georgia immediate footprint isn’t in Atlanta, he feels, “her presence is still felt there, and her expertise is still able to speak for itself.
