BHS student makes Georgia All-State Band

Baldwin High School sophomore and band percussionist Kody Reese made Georgia’s All-State Band. The Georgia Music Educators Association All-State Band gathers the most talented student musicians from middle school to high school to participate in a concert.

Mop Top & Beardie, a new trading card game shop, held its ribbon cutting with the Jones County Chamber of Commerce April 9, and welcomes all gamers to check out their shop. The shop is owned by Reson and Aislynn Holt and Amy and Jeff Van Coney.
