Milledgeville hosted its annual car show, sponsored by the old capital car club, Oct. 19 during the Deep Roots Festival. The show went from 9:00 AM to noon, with beautiful, classic cars lining Wayne and Greene Streets.

Amber English grew up with Deep Roots and has volunteered with the city’s premier music and arts festival for more than a decade.“To me, Deep Roots means the one day of the year that Milledgeville- Baldwin County can shine and show how much we love our city and our town,” English said.

On Saturday, Oct. 19, Milledgeville hosted its annual Deep Roots festival, which featured the third annual Steak-Off competition. Locals and out-of-towners gathered to cook for judges, aiming to take home a cash prize and bragging rights for the year.
