Oconee Outfitters hosts a popular community event called the Full Moon Float. Oconee Outfitters is owned and operated by Adam Heagy. The business is known for kayak rentals, bicycle repair centers and kayak excursions.

Community supports international student hoping to attend GMC

Locals Camille Murner and Revel Pough are working with the community to raise money for international student Weyman to attend Georgia Military College. Weyman is originally from Zimbabwe and came to America to attend a college in Kansas with the promise of a soccer scholarship.

Archeology Day teaches the importance of history
