Wax Galaxy Records celebrates one-year anniversary

Wax Galaxy Records, located at 124 N. Wayne St., is quickly approaching its one-year anniversary after bringing a wide variety of music, physical media, and record keeping equipment to the area.

Underwood House Gallery showcases student exhibition

Georgia College & State University held a photography exhibition Jan. 22 at its Underwood House Gallery. Students and community members were invited to view work created by Seth Cook’s intermediate and honors photography students.

Tranquil Tango: A beginner’s guide to dance

Last week, Allen’s Market became the setting for a beginner ballroom dance class hosted by Allied Arts and led by instructors Steven Graham and Rachael Smith.The class welcomed dancers of all experience levels, with many participants attending a ballroom class for the first time.

Community organizations offer free ways to give back

Baldwin County offers residents plenty of free ways to spend their time helping out in the community. Tutoring students, building homes, caring for animals and more, there are opportunities for all ages and schedules.Habitat for Humanity is always looking for volunteers.
