BCSD participates in Culinary Support Pilot Program

The Baldwin County School District (BCSD) participated in the Georgia Department of Education's (GaDOE) innovative Culinary Support Pilot Program. They were one of 9 school districts selected to participate.

GMC Prep athletic director promoted to lieutenant colonel

Georgia Military College Preparatory School (GMC Prep) gathered in the Legislative Chamber to celebrate Rusty Courson's promotion to lieutenant colonel and his new role as athletic director.

GCSU’s spring community dance program open for registration

Georgia College & State University’s (GCSU) Department of Theatre and Dance has opened registration for its Spring Community Dance Program. The program is open for ages 3 and up with classes for children and adults.

Allied Arts to host African dance class

Allied Arts is partnering with dance instructor Jason Aryeh to host African Dance classes for the community. Aryeh has been dancing since he was a child through his educational career.

GCSU students to propose public art ordinance

A new ordinance regulating public art will be presented to the Milledgeville City Council for consideration at its first meeting of 2024 this Tuesday. Grace King, a student at Georgia College & State University, addressed Mayor Mary Parham-Copelan and council members on Dec. 12.
