The Lake Oconee Elks Lodge gave the residents of the Georgia War Veterans Home a grilled luncheon on Wednesday, May 3.
The Elks served hot dogs, hamburgers and brats to 59 veterans and about 20 staff members.
There were about 21 Elks volunteers who helped the veterans out to the pavilion.
They served them lunch and sat swapped stories of being overseas and serving in the military.
