Fourteen Milledgeville Citizens of Georgia Power (MCGP) volunteers, with help from AIS Infrastructure, recently completed a Georgia Power Foundation Legacy Project at the newly installed playground at Jimmy Davis Park in Eatonton. Through the Legacy Project, MCGP funded the purchase of 12,670 pounds of 100-percent recycled, long-lasting rubber mulch installed last Wednesday evening. The Milledgeville Citizens of Georgia Power members were happy to be able to provide a resilient, safe surface for the new playground and to be involved in this special community project. Volunteers included (in no particular order): Darrin Aldridge, Aron Ward, Coty Dunn, George Parker, Tim Johnson, Keith Green, Leon Samuels, Pam Gattie, Hortense, Tiffany Vanstone, Greg Tyson, Alisa Crudup, Phillip Hill, Sara Williams, Putnam County Commissioner Daniel Brown, and Jimmy Davis Park Manager Tweedy Parham.
