GMC Prep seniors commit to Georgia Military College

Georgia Military College’s (GMC) Preparatory School proudly announces that 23 of its seniors have committed to continuing their education at GMC.

GMC Prep School, known for its rigorous academic programs, and emphasis on character and leadership development, has prepared these students for a successful transition to higher education. The institution takes immense pride in having so many prep school students from one graduating class choose to continue their education at GMC.

Two of the 23 graduating seniors who have chosen to further their education at GMC have made a commitment to serve our nation by enrolling in the GMC Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program and will be members of the 145th Georgia Military College Corps of Cadets. Their decision to pursue the GMC ROTC program is a testament to their unwavering commitment to their country.

Six student-athletes have also made the decision to continue their education at GMC while pursuing their passion for sports. Four will play soccer, one will play football, and one will run cross country. In addition, 15 other seniors will be commuter students at the Main Campus. Their decision to attend GMC reflects their commitment to academic excellence, leadership, and a desire to pursue a higher education that aligns with their goals and aspirations.

“We are incredibly proud of the students who have chosen to continue their academic journey at GMC,” said Lieutenant General William B. Caldwell IV, president of Georgia Military College. “They are a great example of the many pathways to opportunities the main campus offers like the Corps of Cadets, athletics, and in-seat classes. We are confident that they will continue to thrive and make significant contributions to their college community.”

As these 23 students embark on their college journey, GMC extends its warmest congratulations and wishes them continued success in all their future endeavors.
