Columbia St.) More info: Artwork created “En Plein Air” at Andalusia recently by area art students, including some from Georgia College & State University’s Art Department. What: Haunted Milledgeville Exhibit When: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Where: John Marlor Arts Center, Milledgeville More info: Get ready for a month-long adventure of exploring our town’s spookiest locations and supernatural tales. The exhibit will showcase a collection of spooky art by local artists along with haunting photos of Milledgeville’s most haunted places, complete with the historical background behind the hauntings.

What: Flannery O’Connor Book Club When: 2 p.m. at the Georgia Writer’s Museum in Eatonton; 7 p.m. on Zoom More info: Meet to discuss Jessica Hooten Wilson’s new book, Flannery O’Connor’sWhy Do the Heathen Rage?: A Behind-the Scenes Look at a Work in Progress. This is a recent publication of an unpublished manuscript that O’Connor left behind, along with notes and ideas she had documented. It takes her thinking about race far beyond what she had done in her short life, and presents the opportunity for tantalizing speculation. Hancock St., Milledgeville More info: Hear about Milledgeville’s storied past during the Ghosts of Milledgeville Evening Walking Tours. Join us for a guided walking tour of some of Milledgeville’s hauntings throughout downtown. To join the tour, pre-purchase $12 tickets in advance by calling 478-452-4687 or in person at the Milledgeville Visitors Center (200 W. Hancock St.). The tour will meet and start at the Visitor’s Center.

What: Western Style Square Dancing Lessons When: 6-7 p.m. Where: Baldwin County Rec. Experience the mansion after the sun sets and prepare for mourning the four confirmed deaths within its walls. See the docents dressed in traditional mourning dresses for the exclusive tour. What: Sunset Paddle When: 5 p.m. Where: Oconee Outfitters More info: This 3-hour adventure offers a unique opportunity to paddle under the stars as the sun sets over the water. Starting at the Oconee River Greenway, you’ll embark on a peaceful 4.5-mile journey to Central State, where you’ll experience the tranquility of the river at dusk, complete with the sights and sounds of nocturnal wildlife. Kayak rental, paddle, PFD, and a shuttle from the Central State Boat Ramp to the Oconee River Greenway are all included. The parent must register for the monthly diaper program with a photo ID, a valid WIC or SNAP card, and a copy of the child’s birth certificate.
