GriefShare materials provide an effective combination of counselors and testimonials on video along with small group sharing and workbooks to help in your journey.

Special guests include a real scientist from Georgia College and a children’s fitness instructor to get us up and moving! What: We Sing When: 7:30 p.m. Where: First Baptist Church on Liberty Street More info: “We Sing” features pieces that were written to express the thoughts and feelings of humanity; these include arrangements of protest songs, folksongs, African American spirituals, sea chanties and more. Women’s Ensemble, University Chorus and Max Noah Singers will perform settings from countries such as the U.S., Kenya, Korea, Latvia, New Zealand and Singapore. A $5 donation is encouraged. Join ZTA (and the zombies) as they host the frightfully fun Thriller 5K on Friday, Oct. 21. Kicking off at sunset in the Pecan Grove at the historic Central State Hospital campus, the Thriller 5K loops racers through the most historic and iconic points on campus. Runners beware: for a fun Halloween twist, zombies chase the racers around the 5K loop.

What: Deep Roots When: 10 a.m. to midnight Where: Milledgeville Main Street More info: Deep Roots is the highlight of Milledgeville’s fall events and each year we eagerly await its awesome music, tasty food, fun activities and the chance to gather with our people.
