Held last Friday of every month, this free, family-friendly event begins with performances from the spotlight artist(s), showcasing a variety of musical styles and talent. This guided experience leads through downtown’s historic streets while sharing tales of local legends, unexplained encounters, and spirits said to linger. Tickets $12 each.

What: Uncork Your Support: Wine and Craft Beer Tasting When: 6-9 p.m. Where: Magnolia Ballroom, 231 W. Hancock St., Milledgeville More info: Enjoy an evening of delicious food, thoughtfully paired wines and craft beers, and exciting auction opportunities. Hosted by the Helping Hands Society, this fundraiser supports Baldwin County families experiencing financial hardship by helping provide rent and utility assistance throughout the year.

What: Garden Party at Brown-Stetson-Sanford House When: 6-8 p.m. Where: 601 W. Hancock St., Milledgeville More info: Enjoy a relaxing summer evening at the historic Brown Stetson-Sanford House. Guests will explore the historical, medicinal herb garden, enjoy light refreshments, and paint their own flower vase to take home. Tickets $25 each, advance registration recommended.

What: First Friday: Classic Car Show When: 6 p.m. Where: Downtown Milledgeville More info: Hosted by Milledgeville Main Street, this free, family-friendly event brings an impressive lineup of classic cars, hot rods, muscle cars, trucks, motorcycles, and custom vehicles to the heart of downtown. Stroll the streets, admire a variety of unique vehicles, chat with their owners, and enjoy a summer evening exploring downtown Milledgeville.
