Johnny Westmoreland is seeking another term as a Baldwin County commissioner, but he has to make the same effort as in previous elections for less time in office.

Baldwin breaks ground for sewer upgrades

Baldwin County held a groundbreaking ceremony last week for a sewer line project valued at more than $1.3 million and County Manager Carlos Tobar is hoping this endeavor is one of many more to come.

Bullard’s roots run deep in Baldwin County

Javon Bullard recently wrapped up his career at Georgia and is now preparing for the 2024 NFL Draft.The former Baldwin Braves’ football star had a great career in Athens, helping the Bulldogs win back-to-back national championships. Bullard also earned several awards and honors along the way.

Baldwin Aquatic Center bid awarded

The new Aquatic Center in Baldwin County is now officially a go, as the board of commissioners approved a contract this week of almost $5 million for Phase I of the water park.

Baldwin County releases early voting reports

Georgia’s Presidential Preference Primary is less than two weeks away, and voters in Baldwin County can cast their ballots ahead of time with no waiting if they so choose.Early voting began last Monday, Feb. 19, and continues this week and next at the Government Building on North Columbia Street.
