JMA baseball seeks ‘three-peat’ in 2024

The John Milledge Academy (JMA) Trojans baseball team successfully defended its state title last year but now faces an even bigger challenge in 2024 with their eyes set on a “three-peat.” JMA swept the Pinewood Patriots two games to none in the 2023 state championship series.

JMA pounds Pinewood to reach title game

In another lopsided victory last Friday, the John Milledge Academy (JMA) Trojans beat the Pinewood Patriots 63-28 on Nov. 24 to secure their spot in the GIAA Class 3A state championship game this Thursday in Macon.

When someone decides to write a book, they can go in multiple directions; they can write a novel, a comic book, etc. But for Je’Mazin Roberts, a two-time high school state football champion and three-time high school region football champion, the only reasonable type of book was one for children.

Trojans split region games with Vikings

The John Milledge Academy (JMA) Trojans opened region play at home on March 14 against the First Presbyterian Day (FPD) Vikings and were defeated 7-2 for their second loss of the season.
