Milledgeville marches in memory of March on Washington

The Democratic Party celebrated the 60th anniversary of the March on Washington on Sept. 2 with a march around Allen’s Market in downtown Milledgeville. The March on Washington was a political demonstration held in Washington, D.C. on Aug. 28, 1963.
