Milledgeville talks water, sewer rates

The mayor and the city council of Milledgeville unofficially agreed this week to water and sewer system rate increases, a phase-in period for the higher charges, and the effective date of the changes.

Deadline passes for downtown building repairs

Clean-up work on the vacant building in downtown Milledgeville could begin within a couple of months, nearly 5.5 years after it sustained significant damage.
