Survivors include his wife, Denise Sanders Cook; three children, Dawn Marie Cooper, Mindy Cook, and John Cook; mother, Alice McWaters; father-in-law, Zackey Sanders; sister-in-law, Katherine (& Frank) Yates; and brother-in-law James Sanders.
