James David “Junior” Lawson, Jr., 67, of Milledgeville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025. Survivors include his sons, David Lawson of Jones County, Clay Fountain (Stephanie) of Milledgeville, Michael Lawson (Allyssa) of Haddock; daughter, Wendy Nicole Ham (Preston) of Milledgeville; brothers, Tony Kennedy (Teresa) of Milledgeville, Richard Clark of Milledgeville, Mike Lawson of Blountville, Tennessee; sister, Wendy Lawson Boomershine (Ty) of Piney Flats, Tennessee; grandchildren, James Lowery, Jadyn Lowery, Zayn Lawson, Kade Lawson and Hadley James Lawson; great grandchild, Lawerence Lawson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
