Dave Hawthorne, 85, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024. Survivors include his wife of almost 63 years, Betty Womble Hawthorne of Gordon; sons, Michael Hawthorne (Allison) of Gray, Mark Hawthorne (Jennifer) of Athens, Keith Hawthorne (Misha) of Charlotte, North Carolina; grandchildren, Lauren McKowen (John), Savannah Foley (Wes), Emma Bennett (Jonathan), Sarah Hawthorne, Harlee Hawthorne, Bella Hawthorne; greatgrandchildren, Max Foley, Teagan McKowen as well as a baby girl Bennett on the way.
