Charles Wayne Brooks, 78, passed away on Oct. 8, 2026. Moores Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. The service is set for Friday, Oct. 16 at 2 p.m. at Moores. Survivors include his daughters, Crystal Brooks of Milledgeville and Dawn Kamphuis of North Carolina; his son, Kevin Griffi th of Gray; his granddaughter, Carly Johnson of Milledgeville; and his sisters, Annette Bacon (Kurt) of Pembroke, Penny Brantley (Lee), Gail Roberson, and Jean Babb (Curtis), all of
Milledgeville. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
