What: Lake Sinclair Pirate Parade When: 2 p.m. Where: Little River Marina, 3069 N. Columbia St., Milledgeville More info: This year the parade route is about an hour, beginning at Little River Marina. Participants can look for and follow the lead boat, a pontoon boat with banners on both sides reading PIRATE PARADE CAPTAIN. The parade will go by The Sandbar at the end of the airport and come up the lake to Crooked Creek Marina, where they will invade and pillage the landlubbers.

What: Night Bugs When: 8-9:30 p.m. Where: Lockerly Arboretum, 1534 Irwinton Rd., Milledgeville More info: Join director of education, Kensey Amerson, for an evening learning about insects, catching fireflies in mason jars, and observing moths and other light attracting critters on a light sheet.
