I’d like to offer a special thank you to Milledgeville native, Ashley Chavarvis “AC” Wilbon, who made it possible for a family in Milledgeville to experience a truly wonderful holiday season. This act of kindness would not have been possible without the generous support of AC, his family, and his outstanding company, ACW Decon. Because of AC’s thoughtfulness and caring heart, this family was able to receive generous gifts and celebrate the holiday season with joy.
This meaningful act of generosity reflects the vision and legacy of his grandmother, the late Ms. Gladys Tolbert Wilbon. Wilbon, who was a lifelong resident of Milledgeville and resided in the City of Milledgeville District 5 area, instilled in AC the importance of giving back to others and uplifting his community no matter how small it may seem.
In honor of her legacy and wishes, AC and his family have continued to demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting individuals in their hometown through The Gladys Wilbon Holiday Foundation: A Legacy of Love.
Through this foundation, AC and his team will continue to share compassion, generosity, and hope to those in need.
AC is a retired veteran of the United States Army and currently resides in Las Vegas, Nev. Prior to enlisting, he was a resident within the City of Milledgeville District 5 area and attended schools within the Baldwin County School District. AC and his wife, Lani, are both proud veterans and the parents of two beautiful children, Alana and Ashton, who are the owners of a family-operated business based in Las Vegas known as ACW Decon. Their company is dedicated to providing top-tier emergency restoration services and is recognized for its prompt response, integrity, and military-grade standards.
Sincerely, Shonya Mapp District 5 City Council Member
