What: GCSU Science Camp Jr: Art and Motion When: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Mon-Fri) Where: GCSU Main Campus – Chappell 113 More Info: For rising third through fifth graders. Cost is $150 per child. Georgia College & State University’s Academic Outreach and Science Education Center are hosting a full-day summer camp where creativity meets kinetic energy. Campers will explore the science behind movement through hands-on experiments, engineering challenges, and artistic creations that come to life. What: Lockerley Arboretum Oaks Discovery Camp When: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Where: Lockerly Arboretum More Info: This full day, weeklong camp experience is filled with wild nature activities for kids who love being outside. Each session will have a different nature theme. Daily activities range from indoor crafts and cooking to wild romps through the creek and forest of Lockerly. The camp is $150 for nonmembers and $115 for members.

Jefferson NE, Milledgeville More Info: Walking with Moms in Need (WWMIN) is open Tuesdays from 1-3 p.m., except on major holidays. A monthly distribution of 50 diapers is available for infants and toddlers. The parent must register for the diaper program with a valid photo I.D. and a copy of the child’s birth certificate.
