What: Memorial Road Dedication When: 10 a.m. Where: Baldwin County High School; 155 GA-49 More Info: State Rep. Floyd Griffin will host a road dedication event in honor of the Latasha R. Butts Memorial Highway. During the 2025 legislative session, Griffin introduced House Resolution 71, which dedicates a road in Butts’ memory. In case of inclement weather, the road dedication event will take place at the covered entrance to the high school building.

What: Lockerley Arboretum Acorn Discovery Camp When: 9-11:30 a.m. Where: Lockerly Arboretum More Info: Acorn Discovery Camp is a perfect introduction to camp for kids aged 3-5. It is a half-day program where campers participate in activities alongside a parent/guardian. Daily activities will focus on getting our little acorns comfortable and curious about what nature has to offer at the Arboretum. The camp is $40 for non-members and $25 for members.

Jefferson NE, Milledgeville More Info: Walking with Moms in Need (WWMIN) is open Tuesdays from 1-3 p.m., except on major holidays. A monthly distribution of 50 diapers is available for infants and toddlers. The parent must register for the diaper program with a valid photo I.D. and a copy of the child’s birth certificate.
