The Milledgeville Players present ‘You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown’

With a production of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” The Milledgeville Players (TMP) will launch its 25th season Feb. 7-9 at The Grove on the Central State Hospital Campus.

This family-friendly musical play brings Charles Schulz’s timeless “Peanuts” characters to life with laughter and heartwarming lessons for audiences of all ages.

Directed by TMP Board Vice President Rebecca Brasher, a music educator with extensive directing experience, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” features a dynamic local cast. Performers from Georgia Military College, Georgia College, and Baldwin High School showcase the best of the community’s theatrical talent.

Adding to the vibrant performance will be a live orchestra led by music director Logan Brasher, featuring talented musicians on piano, viola, violin, percussion, clarinet, alto saxophone, and flute.

Performances are scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 9 at 2:30 p.m. at The Grove on the Central State Hospital Campus, located at 252 Swint Ave., Milledgeville. Doors open a half hour before show time for each performance.

Local community members interested in performing in future productions of The Milledgeville Players can audition for March’s annual murder mystery dinner or any other TMP presentation, including a summer musical, a fall production of “Father of the Bride,” or the winter showing of “A Christmas Carol.
