>> GARDEN CLUB
The Milledgeville Garden Club celebrated Christmas at Rose Hill Mansion in Lockerly Arboretum. This 1800s antebellum home is listed on the National Registry of historic places, and thanks to garden club members and volunteers, it was decorated to the hilt for the holidays. Delicious refreshments were served by party hostesses (l-r) Kathy Chandler, Jane Thompson, Anne Walden, Joanne Battle, and Mary Nevins. More than 60 new children’s books were brought as gifts for delivery to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Milledgeville and Gray. CONTRIBUTED
